Scylla

Scylla is a monster.  The father of all monsters is the Typhon.  This is exemplified simply because they're from the same region.  You can see a distinguished monster here.

Scylla, in particular, specializes in terrorism.  The story of Scylla is that of being bound by Juno and then having a nightly routine to terrorize the city or town you are bound to.  It reminds me of Team Rocket and their routine of terrorizing Ash, Misty and Brock on a daily basis in an attempt to steal their Pokemon.

By the way, Pokemon means or translates to Pocket Monsters.

Mark Andrew Holmes says that Scylla means Predatory.  Michael W. Ford says that Apophis is about awakening ones predatory urges and primal desires... So there's a relation/connection.
