The largest state in the continental U.S., Texas is well known for its proud and independent people, the Alamo, oil wealth, cowboys and cattle, April wildflowers and NASA's Johnson Space Center.

State of Texas vs. Johnson is a landmark SCOTUS case which ruled on the First Amendment freedom of speech in regards to burning a flag in a public forum protest. HELD, burning the flag was protected speech.
