January 25th - The Cold Moon - Cancer
We walk in a dream through the darkened landscape January offers and doubt that spring will ever come. For how can anything survive winter's cruel hand? But the murmurs of transformation are truly at play deep within our Mother's womb. And if we close our eyes and listen, we can perceive the signs. Patience is required of us. Take a breath and dream.
We look to the Full Moon of January and dream of things that can be as we face the cold and darkness in our own lives. We must trust that transfoprmation is at hand. Make yourself a cup of herbal tea and light a candle. Write down those dreams that lie sleeping just under the surface. This is your first step in your journey.
February 24th - The Quickening Moon - Virgo
The starkness of winter allows us to reevaluate out intentions. Like the trees that bereft of leaves, we may feel exposed and vulnerable. But instead of ducking away to the safert of our tidy corners, look upon those bare bones and ask yourself, "How can I better support myself throughout the upcoming year?" The signs are all around us that the earth is preparing to awaken. Are you?
Under the Full Moon in February , feel the quickening deep within your spirit and prepare yourself for your awakening. This is not a time of timid-spirit and prepare yourself for your awakening. This is not a time of timidity: stand with arms outstretched under the Moon's pallid glow, cry into the darkness your intentions, and feel the earth under your feet respond in kind.

Blessing Moon
We are all blessed in our own way. When thinking about a blessing we should call our attention to the story of Caine and Abel: two brothers lead astray by God into competition, of a sort, with one another; and Caine who brutally murdered his own brother because of that competition gone bad. After-the-fact, Adam and Eve are blessed with a beautiful son named Seth. What a great fucking story, eh?

Corn Moon
In Ohio, where I live, in the rural areas at least there is a lot of corn. Be careful though, corn in high in carbohydrates but my mom always told me they're good to eat because they're foliage or something like that and they clean out the pockets of your intestines!

Harvest Moon
The full-moon is typically a time to harvest the fruits you have sewn. This particular full moon is a rememberance of that purpose in especially witchcraft. This full-moon should be used to remember what that tradition is for, etc. Harvest all the beautiful fruits which have grown from your labor!

Long Nights Moon
Long, cold winter nights... You know the Winter Solstice (later after this date actually though) is the day with the longest dark (night) period of the whole year. The winter solstice this year is Sat, Dec 21, 2024, 4:19 AM. But, six days before on the 15th of December is the full long nights moon.
