Selqet

Asteroid Number 136818
Discovered June 29, 1997 by Roy Tucker at the Goodricke-Pigott Observatory in Tucson, Arizona.

Selqet was the ancient Egyptian goddess of magic and protector of the other gods from the destroyer, Apep. She was one of the four guardians of the deceased. Her aid was beseeched by those afflicted by scorpion or other stings. The scorpion was her sacred creature.

Otherwise known as Serket.

She's a working girl and that's all there is to it.  If you know, then you know.  If you don't, then you don't.

She's the Goddess of treating venomous bites and stings.  Often times can be spotted working in a pair.  Like EMS Drivers, Police Officers, or anyone working with a partner.

This is about the Monday-Friday work week.
