Discovery
Asteroid Number 9770
Discovered March 1, 1993 by T. Urata at the Nihondaira Observatory.
Discovery was the name of the spaceship in Arthur Clarke's novel and Stanley Kubrick's movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. It is also the name of one of NASA's Space Shuttles.
In the legal industry there's a pleading called a Demand for Discovery. Basically they're asking for admissions and for certain documents to be produced. Â
But also, there's discovery dates of asteroids which are kinda cool. Saturn is the one who likes to discover things. 😉
While Uranus, the father of Saturn, is the inventor.
Discobermath: According to the Munich Handbook, this demon is one of the several who hold sway over the cardinal directions. Discovermath is invoked in the course of a spell aimed at obtaining information about a theft. See also MUNICH HANDBOOK.Â
