A GRIEVANCE
a written statement of dissatisfaction - an objection of sorts
If in a labor union, an employee can file one can When someone is not happy with their employer they can write a formal grievance
If unhappy with medical treatment, one may file a grievance with the ombudsman of the hospital or their insurance company, for that matter.

It's best to offer this deity (or any grief eater) an offering representing/symbolizing our grief.
The offering shows how she perceives ones' grief, trauma, pain and hurt.
The phenomenon is really obvious when we can compare that to how we perceive, process, feel, and understand out grief.
One's pain is another's pleasure.

Grief is a feeling of unjust loss.
For example, if one feels they were cheated out of time, energy, effort, or money  from a romantic relationship that ended, they are grieving.  

The question is, is their grief caused by the loss of that time, energy, effort and/or money.
Correlation is not causation.

 or if one feels they were cheated out of certain experiences because their family was disadvantaged they

Is that considered loss if something was never there in the first place?
